Make an appointment

In order to apply for a visa at the French Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, please make an appointment.

Applicants are required to obtain an appointment before submitting an application. This procedure has been implemented to avoid long waiting lines and to ensure a smooth handling of visa applications.

It remains possible to modify the date by following the same link. Please make sure to cancel the appointment if you change your plans.

Once your appointment is taken, a ticket will be issued. In case of printing problems, it is still possible to print a new one.

For best results, make sure you’ve installed :

• Internet Explorer (Windows), version 6.0 and latest versions with service pack 2 or Firefox, version 1.0 and latest versions, or Mozilla, version 1.7.8 and latest versions
• Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5 and latest versions to print your appointment ticket. You can download this version from Adobe website
• allow pop-up windows (configuration of your web browser).

IMPORTANT

Please note your appointment identification number, it guarantees you that your appointment is registered. If you can’t print the receipt of confirmation of appointment, please don’t send a message (fax or email) to the visa section to apply for a confirmation of appointment. Come to the French Consulate the day of your appointment with your identification number.
